Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a personal brand website. It has no accounts, sells nothing, and does not ask visitors for personal information. It does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.

What the site collects

Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) receives standard technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and keeps server logs for security and reliability. This site does not combine that information with anything else.

Videos, podcasts and links

When you press play on an embedded YouTube video, the player loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) and YouTube’s own policies apply. Podcast episodes play from files hosted by the podcast host. Links to other websites, including some affiliate links, lead to sites that have their own privacy policies.

Shannon Herod Automation (Google API use)

Shannon Herod Automation is a private tool used only by the site owner. It signs in to the owner’s own Google account to read the owner’s own YouTube channel (video details and caption files) so the website can be kept up to date with new videos. It does not access any other person’s Google data, does not collect information from visitors, and does not share, sell or transfer Google user data to anyone. The tool’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Your choices

Because the site does not collect personal information from visitors, there is nothing to delete or correct. If you have questions about this policy, contact the owner through any of the social profiles linked in the footer.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
