Standing Stronger Athletics

Standing Stronger Athletics is a cheer gym founded by Shannon Herod’s wife, who has coached since 2015 and is head cheerleading coach at Springstead High School. It was built on the belief that perfection comes before progression, so every athlete gets strong fundamentals before moving on.

The gym offers classes and clinics for beginners through advanced athletes in stunting, tumbling, jumps and conditioning. Its motto is “Wings Up,” and the Warriors name honors Shannon’s father, Tim Herod, whose handle as a truck driver was “Warrior.”
