Proverbs 3: 5-6 weekly memory verse

Hello and welcome back to the blog!

well, somehow I fell a week behind on the memory verse. I continued to learn the memory verse, I just totally forgot to post it up on the blog :-) This is a learning experience for me and something that is new, so please bear with me as I get into the routine of actually doing all of these new things on the blog.

So, without further ado let’s talk about this week’s memory verse.

This memory verses is something that’s very special to me because it is so real. And actually I shouldn’t say that it is special to me, because it is special to many people.

So, this week we’re going to learn Proverbs 3:5-6 and that reads…

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will set your path straight.

So, go ahead and jot that down on an index card and carry it around with you all day. Post it by your computer, put it on your mirror, and put a copy in your pocket.

Whenever you get a chance, go ahead and pull that card out and take a look at it. Before you know it you’ll have that sucker memorized :-)

If you have a Blackberry or an iPhone, I put it in a memo right there on my phone. So I can pull out my phone and look at it.

Use the technology if you have it :-)

Talk soon,

Shannon Herod

Working on the Website/Blog thingy…not there yet. This is one of my favorite and most used verses. It it a FAITH builder for me. It gets me out of the equation…that is to “let go and let God”.
    Thanks for sharing, Dixie
