Have you ever had that overwhelming feeling, you know the one that really makes you sick in your stomach. That feeling that you’re just not doing what you’re supposed to be doing in life. I know I used to have that feeling in my stomach every single day. When I would wake up hating what I was doing it absolutely drove me insane. I would go throughout the day just consumed by this hatred of feeling trapped. Trapped into a job that I hated, trapped into situations I did not know how to get out of, trapped in a life that I just was not happy with.
Fortunately, I came to the realization that I am in charge of my life, and if I want to change I need to change myself. I need to change the way I think, and the way I act. I can make the decisions to better my life every single day. When I wake up I can focus on building a better me, a better life, a better family, I can focus on building everything better. Or, I can wake up bitter and angry.
I chose to wake up and get better. And that’s what I’ve been doing consistently for the last 24 months. Every single day my life gets better and better. I now do what I love, I own a business that I love, my marriage is getting better every single day. My life is good. I could not always say that. There was a time in my life where I even considered ending it all. Where I was so depressed that I thought my family was better off without me.
I remember looking at other people and thinking to myself, I can never be like them. I can never accomplish what they’ve accomplished. Now, I look at what I’ve accomplished and I am amazed. Not only have I accomplished much more than those people that I once looked up to and doubted I could achieve as much as, but now people looked up to me.
I hear people say all the time, yeah but your “Shannon”. When I hear it I just smile and laugh. The reason I laugh is because I know exactly what you’re thinking. But here’s the thing… you need to change the way you’re thinking. In order to get better you first need to understand that it is your choice to get better. You can choose to stay in the rut you are in, or you can choose to move forward every single day.
It is by the grace of God I was able to open my eyes and finally see that God gave me free will for a reason. That reason is not to feel sorry for myself, but that reason is to better myself. To find him, and move forward in my life to achieve greatness. There is greatness inside of you, and you can accomplish more than you ever dreamed of. But the first step is to open your eyes.

I’m glad to see that you gave God the credit. He gave you what you needed to have, in order to do what you needed to do. May God’s blessings be on you and your family.

I have had a hard life myself as I have very bad back problems disabled and I try to look at life in a way to make the most of what I have and look forward to trying my best to make life better and not dwell on things that brings me down sometimes though it gets hard but i keep thinking of what I can do to better my life one day maybe it will come a better life maybe making more money in an on line business I have plans and will carry them out one day soon just waiting for the right time to act that is making blog networks I have studded this for years and I know what I am going to do and life will get better I know this.
So may God Bless You and everyone.

Edward
Keep your head up Edward. Keep moving and taking focused action. If you’re following a solid plan just keep following it. The problem most people have when it comes to building an online business is that they jump from opportunity to opportunity. So, just keep pushing on and keep a positive attitude.

Great article. I have been there in your position. When we are in the deepest of depression we feel everyone else doing better and nothing seemed to work in my life.
After painful changes in life and readjustments in thinking, there is a huge turnaround and able enjoy the life again. Ultimately, it is matter of faith, perseverance, persistence, and faith again. Faith can , indeed, move mountains. In fact, only unwavering faith can save us from darkest pits of despairs. Everything else does not matter. Thank you for sharing.
You are very right. I always had this whole I was trying to fill in could never fill it. It was not until I found my faith that that hole was able to be filled.
I’m glad to see everything is going a lot better for you.

Wow, this is exactly what I needed. It’s so obvious but unless someone points your eye to it, you just continue to be lost and you don’t want to be found, you don’t want to get up, you feel comfortable slowly digging your own grave with the sands of time. Thank you so much. I forgot the power of prayers. Thank you whoever you are. You’re an Angel.
