The World’s Strongest Dad
By admin | June 23, 2008
Today I was humbled. Today I was literally brought to tears. These are not tears of sadness, but tears of joy and pride.
You see, I’m a father and today I seen a video of a parent that I could only hope to be. This video was one of the most inspirational things I’ve seen to this point in my life.
The video I watched it about a father and son team called Team Hoyt, which is Dick and Rick Hoyt.
This story is a true inspiration to any father, or parent for that matter, on the planet today.
Well, I will just let the video do the talking…
here is a link to their website Team Hoyt

Never give in to adversity
By admin | June 9, 2008
Some days life just throws shot after shot at you. It seems to never stop. It is one blow after another.
I can definitely relate to that scenario and I am sure you can also.
It is what you do during those times that can totally change your life. You can make two choices. You can choose to take the lumps and keep moving forward refusing to give in or give up.
You can throw in the towel and give in to the adversity, letting it beat you.
I do not know about you, but I choose number one.
Why give up. It ultimately will just make the situation even worse. It is the hope that keeps you going through the tough times, and when you give up… Well, you loose hope.
You can do it. What ever it is. Keep your hope alive and fight. Fight for what is right and fight to archive your goals.
I actually have a very heart breaking story I will be telling shortly that will make a very clear statement about why I think you should fight for what you want.
No, I do not mean fist fight. I mean fight through all of the adversity and obstacles.

The Power of a Positive Attitude
By admin | May 27, 2008
The Power of a Positive Attitude…
This is an article I wrote a couple of years ago, and I wanted to introduce it to you all here on the blog today. This article has been floating around the net for some time, so some of you may have already seen it and read it. For those of you that have not; you will enjoy this article.
With the new focus of the blog I’m going to introduce a few articles that I wrote anywhere from two to three years ago. They’re great articles, but I’d never focused on a self-improvement site, so they never received the attention they deserved.
Anyway, without further ado here is your first article…
You wake up in the morning sleepy and fatigued; the day has to start but you do not want it to. You stumble around; stub your toe on the dresser and step on the dog. What do you do, get mad and waste the day with anger or get excited because you woke up this morning and the day is going to be awesome.
Unfortunately, most of us fill our day with negativity from the moment we get out of bed. Then we wonder why our day is not the best it can be. Attitude affects every aspect of your life- even your on-line business- so why not have a great attitude. The good news is you control your attitude, not me not circumstances, and you do. Every time you get excited about your day, you made the choice to be excited. When you walk through your day with negativity it was a choice you made.
Make The Right Choice
Making the choice to stay positive is an easy task but it takes commitment and will not happen over night. It is learning to find the positive in every situation and retraining your sub conscious mind to think in the positive instead of the negative. Unfortunately, we are bread to think negatively from the time we can walk but we can retrain ourselves to be the positive motivator that takes charge and wins in life.
Read on to learn the techniques I use to maintain a positive attitude.
Make A Goal To Change
People often ask me why I am so happy all the time and I tell them because I made a goal to control my attitude. Setting a goal to make a commitment to change your attitude is the foundation that must be laid. If you need help on how to set a goal, you can read my article on goal setting at: www.Dreams2freedom.Com/myarticles1.html.
Affirmations
Affirmations are the key to maintaining a positive attitude. An affirmation is a positive statement said in the present tense with conviction. For example, I am a money magnet, money flows to me easily and effortlessly or I am an extremely positive person at all times. I made a list of seven affirmations that I say twice a day every day and I recommend you do the same. I say my affirmations every morning in the shower and at night before I go to bed and when ever i fill negative about something, this way they will be imbedded in my sub-consciousness through out the day.
Fight A Negitive With A Positive
Every time you find yourself thinking negatively, turn it in to a positive thought and repeat it ten times. It takes 10 positive thoughts to cancel out one negative thought. Every thing can be put into a positive; for example, you are stuck in rush hour traffic and you want to get home to see your family. This is an easy situation to get negative about but instead make it a positive by saying this is awesome, I now have time to clear my head from work so when I get home I can give my family my full attention. Now when you get home you are in a great mood and ready to play with the kids instead of being grumpy.
Follow through on what you just read and you will be surprised at how much better life and business will be. This will be a tough road but is any thing worth achieving easy!

Out with the Mold in with the New
By admin | May 1, 2008
Hello Everyone,
This year has been a pretty challenging year thus far. Reason being, is my family and I have been sick pretty much the entire year.
We moved into a townhouse last year and myself and my son have been sick every sense. We really could not put our finger on what the cause was. We thought it was our son going to day care.
Well, I do not think it is a fact that my son was going to day care. I believe it was the townhouse we were living in. Now, the townhouse was very nice, but I believe it had mold.
Anyway, I was able to get my family out of their and we are now moving into a new house. The house we are moving into is simply awesome. I put together a couple video so you guys can check it out as well.
You can see the old and the new. So enjoy…

A Little Transparency
By admin | April 22, 2008
I just finished reading an awesome post by John Reese. In this post to talk about transparency in your business and how it can increase relationships, which in turn increases profitability of your business.
I actually totally agree with that and was meaning to do some more personal posts upon this blog so you can all get to know me better.
Anyway, I decided to start doing that today. Over this weekend I had a great time. My beautiful sister and her fiancé were married. We had an absolutely fabulous time.
The wedding was right on the Gulf of Mexico and all of our family from both sides were in town. It really could not have been any better.
Here are some pictures to show the great time we had…
Here is the view from the balcony of our hotel room

This is a picture of me and my wife, my son and my mom dancing at the wedding

This is me and my wife at the rehearsal dinner

This is a picture of me, my wife and her best friend

Last but not least, here is a picture of my beautiful sister and her new husband

Anyway, we had a great time and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

How To Kick The Procrastination Habit
By admin | April 22, 2008
If you are like me procrastination is a major hindrance to your business.
Have you ever kicked your self because you missed the boat on an opportunity? Me too, and I vowed to not let it happen anymore.
I started trying different things to help break my procrastination habit.
Although I was concentrating on not procrastinating, I still was. Then one bay I was listening to a teleseminar with Alex Mandossian and he suggested using a timer.
All I can say is wow! Since implementing a timer to my day my productivity has went up ten fold.
Here is what I do…
I use a desk top timer you can get free here…
http://www.harmonyhollow.net/cool_timer.shtml
Next I assign a time limit for task for the day between 10 and 50 minutes.
Then I simply work on the task for up to 50 minutes and the I take a break of 5-10 minutes.
It works wonders for me.

Twitter Kicks Butt
By admin | April 13, 2008
Hey everyone,
Are you currently using twitter? no?
You should. This program kicks some serious rear-end. I started with it I would say about a year ago, but quit using it. I am now back to Twittering and it is so cool.
It is a great way to stay connected to your peers and/or target market.
Now, I have not been going on it consistently long enough to see any real stats, but a name you may know has…
His name is Ed Dale, and he is doing some amazing things with Twitter. You can check out a great post about Twitter on his 30 Day challenge blog.
You can follow me at Twitter by going here…

Also, I just read a great blog post about how to get Twitter followers at Lynn Terrys blog.
Go grab your Twitter account today and get connected.
